2020 Doña Luisa 'Millacoya' País Rosado
With 250+ year old vines planted in black volcanic soil right on the bank of the Bio Bio river, this Pais sits on skins for a mere three days, grapes are then hand pressed (Bastian and Michelle literally squeezed the juice from the grapes with their hands), getting 400 litres out. Tart berries, stone-fruit pips and rose petals. A serious, almost campari note of dried herbs. Racy and tangy, with a surprising generosity.
