A young grower and winemaker, farming 6 certified organic hectares in Landreville in Côtes des Bars, Charles comes from a family steeped in winemaking tradition off this beaten track in the Champagne region.
Organically certified in 2010, it was only when Charles joined the family business that he decided they needed a change to their approach of agriculture. Logically, the crafting of the champagne follows the same goal for purity and integrity in throughout. No enrichment of must, alcoholic fermentation with only indigenous yeasts, no filtration or clarification of the sparkling wine bases and most importantly no sulphur. The result is beautiful wines of great character, grit and impeccable taste.
