Cinque Campi

For over 200 years Vanni Nizzoli's family have been making wine in the north of Emilia-Romagna, however, only at the turn of the century did they begin to bottle and sell these wines.

All the vines are tended to organically even though Vanni's father doesn't understand the term. The composition of soil in the region (20% sand, 45% silt, 35% clay) enables the cultivation of these native grape varieties like Malbo Gentile and Spergola; as well as varieties such as Lambrusco Grasparossa, Marzemino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscat and Carmenere.
