After taking over his family four hectares in the small town of Blacé, in Beaujolais, Sylvere Trichard is making some the prettiest organically farmed wines we've seen in the region.
Organically certified, 5-6 year old barrels and foudre, no filtering, no fining and no sulphur is what Sylvere sticks to. His wines goes through semi-carbonic maceration and are aged in a combination of concrete vats and barrels. The wines are pretty, floral, complex and dense with ripe red fruits. They have this ethereal quality but at the same time retaining that Beaujolais rustic feel we've all come to love.
