Domaine Roger Champault & Fils
Located in an old wine grower's village named Chambetin in the south of the village of Sancerre, where there are vines on every hills, François Champault started around 1850 and then handed over to his son Sanislas around 1900. Roger is a 5th generation Champault, starting with just 2 hectares he has grown out the estate thanks to new land purchased and has modernised both the viticultural and wine-growing equipment with more higher tech tanks in the cellar. The viticulture approach is completely sustainable and cellar work is mindful of the delicate nature of the grapes and vinification in this area.
