Alistair Reed and Sam Cook, two mates who decided to get into winemaking have been evolving their Konpira Maru vintages since 2014. Really easy to drink wines that are made with absolute care.
Another story of two mates throwing out a few ideas, before you know it they find themselves crafting some special wine. Minimal intervention and maximum love, their wines are just always really easy to drink and fun, as wine should be. Wine comes from the South Burnett and Granite Belt regions in Queensland as well as Kilmore in Victoria. In 2016, they occupied their own Whitlands vineyard, above the King Valley. Farming Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris organically on red soil.
