Laurent Charrier runs and maintains vineyards planted by his grandfather and great grandfather as well as some more recent additions. Organic since 1996, Laurent has 16 hectares spread across the Loire. A large amount of his holdings are ‘Pierre Frites’, a special kind of terroir where limestone and flint rock combine to create wines with loads of ripeness and deep minerality. His wines are something special, a real balance of this unique landscape but with remarkable freshness and tension.
