Luke Lambert has had a life-long passion for wine, with Nebbiolo being his ultimate fascination. In the words of one of his colleagues, “Luke is Nebbiolo.” Originally from Brisbane, he established in the Yarra Valley working closely with Denton Shed where he sources fruit. His own wines, produced under labels’ Luke Lambert and Crudo, are site expressions of Chardonnay, Shiraz and of course the highly sought after Nebbiolo. The Luke Lambert wines are classically styled- stunning examples of their varieties with distinct regionality. The Crudo wines are fresher, more minimal styles which display more pure fruit characteristics.
