Patrick Bottex
Patrick and Catherine Bottex farm limestone slopes above the Ain River in Bugey and have been doing so since 1991. They produce only a small number of wines each year using the méthode ancestrale (a rare technique that is believe to predate méthode champenoise!). Bugey lies at the crossroads of the Savoie, the Jura, Burgundy and the Rhône and is one of the best kept secrets in France.
