Romain le Bars's CV is certainly not one to underestimate, working alongside legendary winemaker Eric Pfifferling for 7 years at Domaine L'Anglore in Southern Rhone. When a unique opportunity presented itself in the form of a small piece of land in 2018, Romain pounced spending time away from Eric meticulously pruning and preparing the vineyard for his first harvest.
Fast forward a couple of years, Romain tends to 5 hectares between his Lirac and Tavel vineyards. Incorporating slow direct pressing (approx. 3 hours), carbonic maceration and other more exciting techniques across both his Grenache and Syrah to create these sexy, generous and pure wines.
