Rita and Rudolf Trossen have broken away to the commercial viticulture practices fo the 20th century and began conversion to biodynamics in 1978.
Every since them, they've been creating incredible Mosel Valley Rieslings. From 2010 they then began to go further into natural winemaking, with their set of 'Pur'us'. Zero sulphur, zero anything. Whilst there are quite a few organic wineries in Germany, there are very little following a zero sulphur approach. These wines have depth of character and an expression Riesling can reach on another level.
