Having worked as a Sommelier and a long history of working vintages in the Hills with the likes of Jauma and Lucy Margaux since 2011, James Madded decided in 2017 it was his time.

Working out of Schulkin’s shed in Ashton alongside Architects of Wine’s Dave Caporaletti, James's focus is on sourcing the right organic fruit and he refuses to use any sulphur in the wines. The approach he takes is experimental, playful and fun. The wines are anything but normal for the grape variety that is on offer, but will never disappoint.
