Tedo Gzirishvili is another exceptional Georgian winemaker, having practiced viticulture and winemaking since 1985. In his small family cellar, Tedo produces Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, and Mtsvane Kakhuri wines all from organically harvested grapes.
The wines are made in the traditional method – in kvevri – as well as in stainless steel tanks. To date, Tedos only makes around 500 bottles annually. So as you can imagine the demand is high and supply very limited to go around.
