Inspired by the spirit of ancestors who left Cornwall for the gold rush hills of Gippsland in the late 19th century, the boys at Trutta are making honest and site driven, expressive vino.
Being integral in the shed is great and Trutta have this in spades, but working with growers who follow organic practices is often something a bit neglected by younger winemakers and brands. Constantly rated highly by the likes of Mike Bennie and the Wine Front, the Trutta wines are always a treat to drink. They're often vibrant and full of natural energy, but more importantly strongly represent where they were grown. Outstanding value from this up and coming Victorian clan.
