2018 Ngarto Syrah Vigonier Blend
An epic collaboration between Ngeringa and Sydney based chef Brendan Cato (Carto). The unique terrain of Mount Barker, 420m altitude and soil of schist and sandy loam, leads to a pretty unique wine. With 10 months in old French Oak barrels, only racked once for natural filtration, nothing else was applied to the wine. From the crew: The palate is alive with red berries & blood plum fruit, spice and liquorice. Approachable tannins and perfect to drink now.
