This vineyard is also planted at 11,300 and 22,600 vines per hectare and has been yielding at around 300 grams per vine. The 2020 Block 8 has its usual darker fruit profile but also red cherry fragrance. It has layers of aromas; ginger, earth and game, brown spice. The palate is creamy and fresh with a supple and smooth fruit and tannin flow. As is typical with this vineyard, it builds through the middle palate and fans out through the finish.
