The Stockwell road block has a heavy sandy top soil with limestone under. Around 40 Years old plantings. The 2023 vintage was a cold and wet vintage. The growing cycle ran on average 3 weeks behind then normal. Heaps of rain in winter 2022 and spring 2023 made the vine slow and unwilling it’s growing.
