Commune of Buttons - 2023 Pretty Fun

There’s a reason it works in Champagne, so why wouldn’t Pinot and Chard have fun together in a pet nat? Spritzy, peppery, full of brightness. That sounds pretty fun to us! In 2023 Pretty Fun is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Commune of Buttons vineyards in the Piccadilly Valley and Basket Range and a small parcel of Syrah came to join the party from The Deanery Vineyard in Balhannah. The grapes were whole-bunch pressed and the juice was barrel fermented in seasoned barriques and puncheons.
