The fruit for Greg's Pink Pet Nat (75% Vermentino + 25% Nero) comes from the Bassham Family Organic and Biodynamic vineyard in Barmera. Each variety was picked, pressed off straight away and fermented separately. Blended and bottled, the last bit of primary fermentation was finished in the bottle to create the “petillant naturel” style.
Blush salmon in the glass, citrus fruits dominate this year. Orange blossom on the nose with delicate oily freshness, orange sherbert and mandarin peel oil coat the mouth. Pure chuggability.
