100% Chardonnay. A terroir of west-facing Triassic red marls at an altitude of 300m, hand-harvested and partially destemmed (30%). Fermented in barrels and aged on lees for 12 months.

Straw with yellow gold. Sparkling highlights. Such a different expression aromatically. This is all earth and clay to start with dried cream and background yellow plum and citrus. More Burgundian richness and shape here. Wow. Ripe grapefruit, yellow plum and creamy in texture and flavours with some vanilla and sandalwood from the demi-muids. Long harmonious flavours.
