Vibrant and pretty nose, raspberries and brambly. Complex red fruits with a little spice and forest notes. Lithe tannins, structured framework and great length. Limestone clay soils, 70% whole bunch, maceration approximately two weeks, elevaged in old barrels 10 months.
The vines have a westward orientation rather than SW and the plots fall within an altitude of 300 – 450 meters. Peter’s farming has been organic since the beginning, converting to biodynamics in 2014. Fermentation is with indigenous yeast, the wines are un-fined and unfiltered.
