Foradori - 2021 Granato Teroldego

I never did opium. Something dark and pleasant it must be. Maybe the last couple of years of my life I can smoke some up from my Cambodian chalet, while I write these tasting notes …ANYWAY… this wine is how I imagine opium. Not because the addictive part (otherwise I would write to you from my pharma-headquarter), but the depth, joy and density. There is something sublime about this wine, especially after the bottle is open for two days. The nose smells like Christmas; cardamon, cloves and cinnamon. The length is brutal. Quinces and cranberries appear and disappear. The aftermath is bitter and medical. Suggested for terminal illness. – Addley Clark, Importer.
