A mix of some local drops, made naturally of course, which are the perfect hello to natural wines.

2021 Somos 'Fresa Fresca Pin Nat' Pet-Nat - Get the band back together or in this case the three P's; Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Meunier all fermented separately and then blended together (at last) to make the prettiest of pink rose.  Some of the Pinot Meunier juice was held back frozen and then added to the rose to kick off secondary fermnetation.  This is a zero so2 bubble that's eager to be drank cold. Fresa Fresca, fragola party, strawberry sunrise!  Think pink, drink pink.

2021 MDI Favorita Giano Garganega - Kev describes this as a "freak of a wine". Think savoury stone fruits, lots of mineralogy yet very light, fresh and drinking. Not much was made  across these three intriguing varieties: 70% Favorita, 20% Fiano and 10% Garganega. The wine spends 170 days on skins and a long free-run before being gently pressed after.  It's soft and elegant, not what you would expect from a half year on skins, but the extraction of flavour and phenolics probably peaks earlier on and the wine actually becomes more elegant and soft with time. 12.4% abv.

2021 Mobo Vino 'Bonnie' Semillon - The Bonnie is the gents' skin-contact Semillon, left on skins for 21 days with a plunge every day before being pressed to neutral French oak hogs heads. Orange peel and mandarin nose leads to a very very dry medium bodied ripe apricot, lemon and elegant palate. Will cut through any rich dish you're cooking and is asking for just that. 11.5% abv.

2021 Frankly This Wine Was Made By Bob Ruby - This is their take on a winter rosé. Candied red strawberry like fruit. Mainly Cabernet Sauvignon fermented on Riesling Skins then blended with Primitivo. It's fresh, dry with a tight acid line, subtle tannin and texture. This is our kind of dinner party rosé as aperitif or with a white pasta dish of some sort. 13% abv.

2020 Domaine des Sablonnettes 'Les Copines Aussi' Gamay - A frivolous, fresh and tasty Gamay that screams strawberries, a savoury backbone from flinty soils. Incredible value for a biodynamic French Gamay.

2021 Personal Wines 'Kein Fear Vor Vier' Syrah - A nouveau Syrah sourced from the Kersbrook in Adelaide Hills with carbonic maceration for 3 weeks giving it a huge exuberance and vibrancy. Crisp, crunchy with cherries and bright red primary fruits. Delicious and really easy drinking. Kein Fear Vor Vier is inspired by the German words Kein bier vor vier (no beer before 4 o'clock).
