Jauma - 2024 Lulu Old Vine Chenin Blanc

This wine is made from the oldest Chenin Blanc grapes in McLaren Vale, from vines over 100 years old. Lulu Lunn runs the vineyard with consultation from Fiona Wood. The vines sit on white beach sand over clay. Although ’24 was a generous year, the Chenin held its acid beautifully. The wine saw a simple, yet effective treatment: direct pressing into old French puncheons and bottling after 14 months. This wine is also available in tiny quantities, so get in quickly!
