After a huge response to our first shipment, we have just landed another chunk of Lucien’s wines. Lucien is a third-generation winemaker based in Fleurie. He sustainably farms approximately 14 hectares throughout Beaujolais split across several “lieu dit”. His Fleurie “Les s” is a plot of 67 year old vines planted on pink granite which gives not only a mineral edge but also retains warmth and encourages ripeness. The Beaujolais Villages from vines planted in 1951 which sits just at the border of Fleurie. It’s a great introduction into Lucien’s style. - Beaune and Beyond, Importer.
