This MGA produces wines that have always been considered the quintessence of Barbaresco.
The Cru is located at the meeting point of two ridges that form the heart of the Barbaresco vineyards. The first ridge has looser soils, the second more compact, and the two types find a balance in Rabajà, which is considered a vineyard that produces very balanced and harmonious wines where elegance and power blend perfectly. The southwest exposure, therefore warm, produces rather ripe fruit, less fresh and floral than other vineyards, especially in sunnier years.
Bottled by Produttori for the first time in 1970 when the Guido Restaurant in Costigliole d'Asti bought its entire production, making it famous among enthusiasts all over the world. - Produttori Del Barbaresco, Winery.
