Quattro Gatti Gin was founded in 2022 by four close friends—Simon Mordant, Angus Mordant, Brielle Mordant, and Jim Rankin—each bringing a unique skillset to the table. Simon the rignleader has been a driving force, an Aussie living in Umbria whose has taken Quattro Gatti to the world. Along with Angus, both hands-on distillers, they oversee production and botanical development. Brielle leads the brand’s creative vision, and aesthetic, while Jim manages commercial strategy, distribution, and partnerships. The distillery sits in the rolling Umbrian countryside, surrounded by olive groves and wild herbs with production entirely in-house using a traditional copper still and a patient, small-batch approach. Each botanical is treated with care—measured, macerated, and distilled individually to ensure its full aromatic expression. The team uses pristine local spring water and the finest grain spirit as the base, combining traditional technique with a modern palate.
