San Barnaba - 2024 Langhe Freisa

This is special. A new star in Piedmont. Roberto & Giovanni Pasquero have joined forces with Francesco Rocca (son of Bruno Rocca) to create a project on a meteoric rise.
Based in Serralunga d’Alba, with vineyard plots across Barolo sub-regions like Monvigliero, Serra (La Morra), and surrounding Langhe terroirs, they aim to craft wines that capture the essence of terroir—pure Piedmont.
From high-altitude vineyards in Santo Stefano Belbo, this Freisa is bright and energetic. Juicy red fruit, fresh herbs, and fine-grained tannins. A touch rustic but in the best kind of way.
