Stoney Rise - 2023 Pinot Noir

This is the newest release of Lou & Joe Holyman’s Pinot Noir. 85% of the fruit is estate grown, and 15% from local premium growers. 10% old vine fruit on 37-year-old vines. The wine is not irrigated. The wine is fermented in big old oak, followed by puncheons and aged in barriques. There is no fining or filtration. The wine shows black cherry and hints of coffee on the nose, with a rich palate of dark plums and shitake mushrooms. Always including that typical Stoney Rise juciness and freshness with underlying tannin and structure from the old vine fruit. Drink now or hold for 5-10 years. - Cellarhand, Importer.
