A true one-off. In 2023, an opportunity to work with a remarkable Cabernet block in Greenock, Barossa Valley, came along, and we didn’t need to be asked twice. Making Cabernet is a kind of holy grail, not something to rush. This wine spent a year in barrel and another in bottle, all in preparation for this moment of prime shape.
A reasonably restrained nose sets the stage for what’s to come, and it’s ample: blackcurrants, blackberries, and dark cherries, with hints of vanilla, chocolate, and… well, you take it from here.
