This is the second release of this beautifully expressive wine, defined by its long, graceful tannins. The fruit comes from an old, dry-grown Shiraz vineyard in Vine Vale, with vines now averaging over 90 years of age. This site consistently delivers concentration and depth, thanks to naturally low yields and very small berries with thick skins—ideal for long, slow fermentations. The wine spends eight weeks on skins, followed by twelve months in cask before bottling, building structure, texture, and quiet power with remarkable finesse. - Giorgio di Maria, Importer.
